Sony launches six new Blu-ray recorders get BDXL and 3D Blu-ray

Best Buy HDTV Sony has announced six new 3D Blu-ray recorders with support the 100GB BDXL format in Japan. All also have built-in hard drives and are optical disc writers with dual tuners allowing users to record two TV contents at the same time on your HDD and/or BD Drive.
Sharp introduces first 100GB BDXL discs
July 19th, 2010 Best Buy HDTV Sharp Japan has introduced its new BDXL Blu-Ray disc that extends the storage capacity of Blu-ray Discs to 100GB on triple-layer Blu-ray Disc format. These new Blu-ray Discs will be available in Japan beginning July 30, 2010 and priced ¥5,000 per disc.
