Philips has announced the 58-inch Cinema 21:9 Platinum HDTV with Full HD 3D at IFA 2010. The HDTV boasts a slimline bezel, LED backlighting with local dimming and in the ultra-wide 21:9 movie format. The 400Hz panel is capable of pumping out Full HD 3D and also has multi-view and Net TV, which allow you browse a wide range of online information, services and entertainment on your TV while you wait for your favourite program to start. Plus, you can even download movies direct to your TV or watch your favourite show on demand with Catch Up TV services.
The Philips Cinema 21:9 3D HDTV is expected to cost around €4,000 ($5,112) in Europe with a launch set in September.
